Tennis Elbow aka Lateral Epicondylitis
On the outside of your elbow is the site where a large group of powerful forearm muscles all anchor onto the bone. Repetitive loading of this can produce irritation, called Tennis Elbow or lateral epicondylitis. It is a common injury suffered by tennis players as a result of the repetitive power of the tennis racket hitting balls in the backhand position, and is a form of insertional tendinopathy.
