Biceps Tendon Injury

The biceps tendon runs from the shoulder to the elbow. As well as moving the elbow, it stabilises the shoulder.  Excessive loading or trauma in sports activities like weight training or repetitive lifting of heavy objects may subject part of the tendon to wear and strain. This can produce problems at the shoulder or elbow.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

Bruising
Weakness in shoulder or elbow flexion
